Another vote for Red Rock and Benvenutis. Royal Bavaria is always pleasant. I don't know that I'd call it fine dining but I'm pretty partial to the Peruvian dishes at Mamaveca.

If that's the Red Rock Canyon place over there on the east side of I35 north of Robinson, hard pass. I ate there once; although it might pass for fine dining, it was too expensive, the music was damn near deafening, and they sauced the steak. I don't even want my BBQ sauced; covering a steak in sauce is a big no-no for me.

I think I've had Benvenuti's, and I recall it being pretty good.

I'm not hoi-polloi enough to tell you where to find fine dining (though I did eat at the Eagle's Nest a couple of times); that's just not my type of food. I'm more of a Greek House or Sandro's Pizza kind of guy.

I’d recommend LaBaguette on west side of I35. Not the sandwich place on Main Street. That’s probably as close to fine dining as it’ll get. Opinion based on facts gathered 5 years ago.

Coalgate, Ok.
Go to one of the local parks that have benches and tables, bring some hotdogs your wife and kids. No a meal served on the earth that day with you and your family having a hotdog on a grill.
I've ate at some of the best restaurants from the East coast to the West coast. 5 stars here and in Canada. If you think it's worth the massive bill, great. I'll bet you have had better at home and you can have your children with you. Most 5 star places will not accept incorrectly dressed patrons or children. Screw'em Pick up the Hotdogs at Walmart

I agree it is a bit too pricey. I've only been there once but thought it was fine; might be a mixed bag though.

It's not like it's terrible; the food was well-prepared, just not to my taste. I was there having dinner with a friend I don't get to see often, so the loud music and terrible acoustics (which seem to be de rigeur these days) didn't help. Then again, we were able to walk over to the pavilion/cement duck pond thing and shoot the bull while watching some sorority girl hazing. She made them jump in the water, which is, surprisingly, deep enough for a sorority girl to go completely under the water while straight up. I mean, I looked at that water and the ducks that were pooping in it, and I wouldn't even dangle my feet in it, but I did enjoy the show...
