We just got home. Some craziness there, yeah.

Lots of $1/round .223 and 9mm. Lots of $0.12-15/round .22.

Some prices I took notes on because they just stuck out to me:

Barely in the door and I see a Ruger GP100, spotless, I've kinda wanted one for a long time. Till I saw the price - $850. Guy said it was brand new, unfired, in the box. Whatever, I don't care. Later I saw another beat up one that looked a little rough for the same price - $850.

Saw a Glock 27 with a pinky extension for $695. I looked at it for a minute in the glass case, I was trying to see if it had any kind of upgrade I couldn't tell... you know, trigger, night sights, something. I asked the dealer, "Is there something special about this Glock?" He said, "Nope." Ok, moving on...

Saw a Ruger SP101 with an 1150 tag on it. It was in a box, the one under it was not, I asked him if this was the price for both, he said, no, I said, "$1150 for an SP101???" He said, "Yes, that's not a .357 and those aren't regular grips." I just nodded and went on. Ok.

Let's see, what else? Lemme check my notes...

Anderson LPKs at $75/ea. At one vendor - saw them several other places at $50.

Bone stock base S&W M&P .223 - $900
WWB $100 for 100 rounds.

On guy selling Anderson stripped lowers for $175 cash from his "private collection" - meaning no paperwork or background check. He had about a dozen on the table and I watched 2 of them go in the 10 seconds I was there. This is the kind of thing that is gonna get private sales banned.

Lots of AR uppers for sale. Best deals seemed to be $350 or so without CH/BCG, most were in the $500-600 range w/BCH & CH.

M&P Sport .22 for $595 shocked me, until I saw an M&P 15 later on another table.

DPMS essentially stock with a cheap foregrip and a "Sniper" brand scope, bungee sling and nylon zipper case - $1400.
Bushmaster XM-15 with a flip up rear, front post and Minimalist stock $895
PSA 9mm AR with a low-end red dot and an M-LOK handguard - $1200
M&P15 .22 $699
These from Durkin Tactical -
.308 168gr Sierra 200rd/$379
Wolf .223 1000rd/$699 - don't know if this was steel or brass
Wolf Polyformance 7.62x39 1000rd/$475
Wolf Military Classic Steel 7.62x39 hollow point 1000rd/$499

Elsewhere:
Federal .22 40gr range pack 800rd/$149.95
Winchester M-22 1000rd/$239.95
IMI 5.56 M855 62gr 500rd/$425.
IMI 7.62 NATO 147gr M80 500rd/$550
Wolf steel case 7.62x39 500rd/$225, 1k rd/$450

I saw very few places to buy much in the way of AR parts. Lots and LOTS of complete uppers, but not many places to pick up handguards or things like I've seen and done before. I saw ONE place (K&M Tactical or something?) with about a dozen BCGS - $145 for phosphated, I think $180 or so chromed?

So anyways, my feet hurt. We were there maybe 3.5 hours, I bet we wandered 1/3-1/2 of the aisles. It was crowded in some spots, just busy in all. As above, I was gonna check out for some mags at the big mag dealer in the center, it was wall to wall flesh, so I passed.

Got my son a couple of 2-packs of cheap throwing knives, he's ecstatic. Got myself a couple pistol blades and pistol buffer kits. I never really wanted them, but I thought I'll go ahead for now, they're cheap. Might as well, I might get a grandfathered SBR registration out of them when they ban them. Who knows? I'm pretty sure the girl undercharged me, too, I didn't think about it till we left, but she offered to 'text' me a receipt - I passed on giving her my phone number. So I'll never know how she came up with the total she did, but oh well.

Hope that gives ya'll some ideas. I don't think I saw a complete AR for under $650, one place was advertising them at... $639, maybe? When we walked by, most of them looked to be $699-850, I think. Durkin Tactical's booth was MUCH MUCH smaller this year, had 3 young girls obviously selected for their curb appeal working it, they were just selling boxes of rifle and pistol kits, it looked like, mostly. They had pallets of premade kits, which I assume didn't have a lower receiver, but everything else in them.

So that was my impression.

Just got back myself. What a joke, for the most part. I did manage to pick up a new pocket knife, and a stupid impulse buy - a Spanish FR-8. I did buy the cheapest box of .45-70 I saw at the show, for a whopping $50. Most of it I saw ranged from $65-$85 a box. Asinine. 10mm ranged from $45 to $80/box, Remington Thunderbolt .22 @ $90 a brick. SKS rifles are now pushing the $1000 mark, many over that. The only deal I saw (and I should have bought to eventually resell) was an SKS Sporter that took AK mags for $599. It was gone when I went back by. There were two others at $900 and $1100. Two Scar 17s, one unfired listed at $5700, another one elsewhere with a Nightforce scope on it for $6200. WASR AKs are in the $1500 range, and even M44 Mosins were north of $500. Did see some rarer stuff that could help justify the higher prices, but not that high.

Saw Perplexed, and it looked like his lady was working a deal with a dude in a black hat for a Garand. Was going to give him a "hey", but figured when folks are doing business, leave them alone.

Oh and there are a lot of very nice revolvers, of course the plethora of pythons in the thousands, but I felt most of the S&W revolvers I saw were quite a bit higher than I remember - several 66-2 and 66-3 versions (in nice shape, admittedly) for $900+. I have 2 66 no dashes that need cleaned up I thought I might sell at those prices... 686s are 850+ also.

Was thinking about going to look for some Savage 99 goodies tomorrow, but it sounds like the web is going to be less of a hassle. Maybe things will be better at the Fall show???:lmfao:

I arrived around 10:30 and left at 3:00. Started at the far end of the top level and worked my way back. Made it to aisle 23. Admittedly I was moving slow at just under 2 months post heart surgery, my stamina is in need of some work.
Did see a few decent deals. Anderson LPK’s for $49.99, several older single shot 22lr rifles for $120-150 range. Also saw a very decent Colt Detective Special for $595.00
Was not able to find a barrel for the Model 10. MAY try to go back tomorrow and continue my search.
Most insane ammo price I saw was 20 rounds of soft point 30/30 for only $90!
Also met the “Garand“ guy and his girlfriend, along with @BlackRifle and his son. Texted allot with @tRidiot , but never actually saw him or his son. Also had another member talk to me but I cannot remember his screen name. (Sorry)
Overall as stated above it was insane. However I LOVE looking at guns and perusing the tables.

As crowded as it sounds, glad I didn’t go.

686s going for that much, maybe I should sell one :). I do need to figure out some prices on things and get rid of my stuff I’ll never use.

Thanks for the info on the show.I would have been disappointed driving 3&1/2 hours and seeing those kinds of prices.I was wondering what glock G17 mags were going for but doesn't sound like i would be a buyer if they were as inflated as the ammo.

I ended up not buying anything at the show. I did get some Browning stickers from their booth!. I wanted to get a CZ rifle, but the seller wouldn’t budge a nickel on his price! Ironically, I stopped by my buddies shop in Norman on the way home and ran into another friend of mine there. He was there trying to sell a shotgun to raise a few dollars to buy a different firearm. I ended up buying his Mossberg 500 with a 18.5” barrel for a great price. Truth be told, I don’t need it at all. It was a pretty good deal so I figured I’d buy it to help him out. I’ll probably put it up in the classifieds here in a bit for the price I paid for it in case anyone wants a good deal on a home defense shotgun.

Update:
Well the shotgun has sold. That's the first time I've sold a firearm on here without actually posting it in the classifieds!! Congrats to the buyer (in case they want to remain anonymous), that's a pretty good deal on that shotgun!.

I saw a large box full of factory sealed 17 round Glock 9mm mags. If I remember correctly they were wanting $35-$40 per!
