There weren’t as many vendors there as there were in past shows. The attendance was also down. You could actually walk through most of the aisles without actually knocking someone down or stepping on them. I saw less than a dozen people wearing masks.

For me, it was great.

Prices were high. I found a few items I wanted, but not within the price range I wanted to pay.

This was my sentiment, pretty much. Fewer vendors than in the past, and when we were there between 8 and 12, it seemed like the crowd was on the light side of moderate. Small traffic jams here and there, but in the main, walking around wasn’t a big deal. Ditto the masks, very much in the minority.

What I noticed most was how, compared to past shows, fewer people were walking around with firearms for sale. I also didn’t see a lot of firearms being moved off tables, but people were staggering out with a case or two of ammo. Made me shudder to think of how much those buyers got screwed, though of course some of them had little choice.

I ran into a couple people from this forum, but I confess I couldn’t place a screen name with the face - my apologies! I think my girlfriend got more attention on whole ;) I did have an amusing experience right before we left, after I bought two M1 Garand stocks for a buddy. A tall fellow stopped us and said, “I see you have a rare Garand, and you’re carrying two Garand stocks. Are you a Garand expert, because I have a question?” I had to admit I didn’t know that much about Garands, but I’d try to help. Turned out, he was looking for a stock for a 5.3M Springfield, so I was able to offer some advice including keeping an eye on the CMP forum.

All in all, my gf and I enjoyed ourselves, she got two new sets of custom ear plugs from the vendor on the far east end of the lower level, and we were glad to see the big show back in business.

I have to say, I cannot remember the last time my legs, hips, and back hurt as much as they do tonight.
I looked at my steps for today and it said ~7,000 compared to my daily average last month of 500....
May have overdone things today.... :)

We'll say a little prayer for you. Tomorrow could be mighty uncomfortable for you. Take it easy...

The only real deal I saw, I missed out on. A seller had a used S&W 686 that he had just tried to sell for $625 and the dealer turned him down. I tried to catch up to him, but got blocked by a bottleneck in the aisle. By the time I got to him, he was taking a dealers money at his table.

I did accidentally find some small Ruger locks in a box of parts. I thought they were unique cause I’d never seen any before so, I snatched them up at $1.00 apiece. Two brass and one steel.

If I had known the masks were not required, probably would have attended. Not worth it to me to drive 200 miles round trip and get refused to attend by the mask nazi's.
I've sold one gun in my life as stated over the years. Junker Rem 1100.
On a whim, bought a couple pump shotguns NIB a couple years ago. Should have taken them to the show and sold in the parking lot. Only opened one box. Been on the shelf since then.
