God bless our men and women in blue. There is no friggin way I would have the patience for that BS.
Yep. Military and being a cop are among those things I never considered. I regret not trying the military though. I wasn't in the right frame of mind then. And when I had matured enough I had two in diapers and a wife that completely freaked when I was thinking of signing up in the 1st Gulf war. To this day I regret it but I still have no tolerance for nonsense like that. I'm just not wired for it I guess.

My last girlfriend was kinda like that. My dog would knock her phone out of her hand. I got a kick out of it. She contacts me every now and then and I wonder how I spent 4 months with her.

Well, I know why...

"We" thought we lost you in that 4 months. I'm thinking you know who "we" are. :hey3:

You DO NOT HAVE TO STAY AND LISTEN to crap like that. I've heard "I'll have your badge" so many times I actually offered it to a guy once and told him what his duties would be the rest of the night and for $7.35 an hour. He shut up real quick when I turned on my mini cassette recorder. He actually called the chief and told him he was giving me problems and I wouldn't put up with his crap. The chief called me in and said "Good job!"

I probably haven't gotten it as much as you, but as a cable tech I get it as well. Especially when rich/wannabe rich people don't get their way they pull the "I'll have your job!" sticker. I've come this close a few times to tell them they couldn't do my job regardless of how many degree's they have hanging on the wall.
