Oh Man, it was great to get outside and fire off some rounds. I got to test a few of my Walthers that I hadn't had a chance to shoot yet; a Manurhin .380ACP PPK/S and a sweet Manurhin .22LR PPK/S, and my Interarms Stainless PPK/S in .380 ACP with the nice engraving and select gold plated parts. Also got to shoot my new Hellcat, and my new Glock 43. Everything checked out great! A super day with @Sted-E Ed-E . And yeah, many thanks to @JLB for letting us shoot on his outdoor range. Love to see those steel targets dance!
We will have to do it again very soon!

Don't call me sir! Makes me feel old. Wait...I AM old! Crap.

PS: You handled my PPK pistols pretty good. Are you sure you didn't use to be a Secret Agent Man? :naughty:

Got a little further on my 200 yard range this weekend. I will be building a large, rock steady bench with those telephone poles next to the cabin, then there will be a backstop and AR500 gongs at the 200 yd mark, near that oak tree in the distance.

Here is an idea. We all go together and buy some land not to far outside OKC. We build a range and a house near the entrance. The wife and I will sell our house and move to the range house. We pay our rent by keeping it mowed, picked up and the riffraff out. We keep it open 7 days a week for members and their guest.

Out of the goodness of my heart I will not charge anything. :lmfao:

Just need to make sure it has a nice pond for fishing and a good place for picnics, etc. Maybe some brick BBQs and cowboy cooking areas. Once the wife and I pass on or end up in a nursing home, the next couple is voted on to run the place. If any fees are charged they will be put into the range. Gravel the drives, etc.

If I ever win the lottery...oh nevermind.

Looks like a great setup to me! I honestly couldn’t stand not having someplace to get out and shoot freely and away from idiots. You got that covered for sure.
