Roundup time!
We helped the neighbor move long horns to another pasture and the Angus to the lower pasture the other day.
I wish they didn't do that because we love looking at those longhorns and the Watusi bull with the 5' horns. He can scratch his butt by moving his head.
We are gonna start tomorrow. We’ve got a couple sets trapped close to start on at sunup. Got about 900 cows, 800 calves, 100 replacement heifers to do. We already worked 300 yearlings last week.

Here, but occasionally There.
I'm exhausted just thinking about it!

.

Tell me about it...

...I just did my annual Spring maintenance on our RV by blowing out the A/C condenser fins (two of them) and added distilled water to the RV's four batteries. I'm now sitting down and resting before I go back outside and put a few things away.

No way I'd want to work cattle.

Photo brought back memories of working on some of the ranches around you when a kid.
My sister did a family genealogy thing for years, printing two books. One of our way distant cousins was Gabby Hayes that ran the chuck wagon on Rawhide and was on Blazing Saddles.
