Several years ago (maybe 15?) I installed one in my house, it made a world of difference. Now that there are more cell towers I no longer need it.

I installed one on my work truck also several years ago (maybe 7 or 8 ?), and it was a real benefit. Many times I would be working on the fringes of a signal, and it made a difference between making a call or not. Now I don't need it as much, again because (I think) there are more towers out there.

I've driven places in Arkansas and Oklahoma on roads that weren't even on the map let alone cell reception. I'm sure glad it was late afternoon and the sun was in the west not overhead.

I don't believe it. If RF caused cancer every two way tech in the country would be dead. I spent most of my working life in and around transmitters, more often than not on a roof with 1/4 KW paging transmitters and several 100 watt repeaters all going at the same time. Just turned 75 and so far so good. Not worried about a 3 watt cell phone.

Not all people who smoke get cancer...one positive outcome doesn't prove or disprove an unknown. A lot of radar operators sure got cancer, but I'm sure the signal was much greater.

I spent a year working in a communication station that transmitted voice signal off the atmosphere for long range communication prior to satellite.
Capacitors the size of 55 gallon drums, 2.4 gig frequency.
Every one working there at that time is still alive other than one drinking himself to death. He died of alcohol poisoning.
