I grew up driving a 59 Apache 6 cylinder, oil bath air cleaner, three on the tree, floor starter with vacuum wipers. That thing would crawl in granny and I would get out and buck bales into the bed while it was chugging along. We lived on a dirt road and the last mile after a rain you just got into the ruts and kept it floored. To turn you had to kinda plow/grade out the ruts with the wheels cranked and after about ten tries you get to turn into the driveway.
Dad finally traded it off for a 67 Ford F150 with a 390. I drove that to college my first year.
Right now it's this one.
I knew a guy with a truck like that in HS. did you happen to graduate from UNION around 2000?

This is a Lancia Delta ,another one I'd love to own. In 1987 the factory World Rally car was a supercharged and turboed 4 cylinder with 1000 hp. and FWD. It could do 0 to 60 mph in 2.6 seconds on gravel.
I liked the rakish looks of those chargers. My first car was a 81 Plymouth Horizon, so thats why I'm partial to the GLHS. The hatchback love never left me as I still like em.
On that note, though not a dream car, I would like to get an early 90's shadow, bore and stroke the engine and turbo the crap out of it, just for s&g's.
My dream car is an actual real deal '69 Z28 Camaro. But these days I'm relegated to jonesing for a Subaru WRX or BRZ in STI configuration, an S209 would get me by alright. 
My buddy in Skaitook has a GLHS and drives the crap out of it. They're neat little cars for sure.
