Shot a couple mags to get the feel of the gun and then ran these 2 mags to see how well I could control it . Not bad at all. This is at 21 feet . Trigger is a smidge over 5 lbs . All told I ran 170 and 2 mags of SD through the pistol today with the only issue being operator error. Was messing with hand placement and limp wristed it . Once I got comfortable and just shot it performed excellent.

I think these and the P238s are great little guns. They're "outdated" in the world of everybody wanting poly/striker/double stack with the introduction of the P365 and Hellcat type guns, but I think these are still under rated.

I see the draw of the double stack but in the end this is more suited to construction type work while CC'ing and How many years did the military carry a 7 shot pistol. I know it was God's round but still seven did it !! And I will still have one more than Wild Bill had .

My wife had one and she hated shooting it. Dont blame her, I hated shooting it too. Was very reliable though, just snappy as hell. I think the gun could have benefited from an extra 1/2 inch of steel on the barrel, slide and frame.

Did you experience any smacking of the trigger finger against the inside of the trigger guard during recoil?
Not that I noticed. I run my finger in to the second pad more like a revolver style trigger pull and my finger takes up most of the opening .

I’ve got a 238 and 938. They’re both very good guns. I had the plastic trigger upgraded to an aftermarket aluminum and got a trigger job at the same time.

I love they way they look and feel in hand. Had several over the years but switched to the plastic micro wonders. Mine used to cut the hell out of my hand
