Someone a few weeks ago was being asked to sell to someone who'd told them they had a MM card - here in OK, the OSBI is sending out letters revoking permits due to that. Be careful about anyone who 'lets slip' they are a MM user if trying to work a firearms deal.

Just curious is it illegal to have a card and have a firearm. I mean is it the MM use or just the MM card that is illegal or cause for revoking a license.

That's a good question, form 4473 asks if you are "an unlawful USER of, or ADDICTED TO marijuana..." etc. (emp. mine) One could easily have a card but never use the stuff.

"Oklahoma state law dictates that any person who is “ineligible to possess a pistol due to any provision of law of this state or the United States Code” shall be denied the right to have a handgun license pursuant the Oklahoma Self- Defense Act. (21 O.S. § 1290.10 (9))

Title 18 USC § 922 (g) (3) federally prohibits anyone “who is an unlawful user of or addicted to any controlled substance” from firearms possession.”

This is the part of legalization that bothers me and I'm not sure why other than I'm a rule follower. I know of several people who use and posses firearms and I'm not keen on it. I haven't brought it up to authorities cause they are fairly good people. Now the guy across the street...he's an ass. I saw him walking around his yard with his pistol on his side yesterday and I'm fairly confident he's a grower. I'm torn on him.

And snitches get stitches right? Haha

On a serious note, both things are stored in databases and I will not apply for a MM card until it no longer risks a Federal change of heart to start enforcing possession of firearms with one.

How does Hunter Biden get past this? You and I would be in jail if we lied on the 4473.
