These people ain't seen a brown skin man since your grandparents bought one.
The structure is set but you never change it with a ballot pull

Can't waste the day when the night brings the hearse...
A ballots dead so a bullets what I get
The rungs torn from the ladder, can't reach the tumor
One God, one market, one truth, one consumer

just the quiet peaceful dance

This song just popped into my head otw to Work today.
Being maybe 20+ yrs old, I find it Almost prophetic.

We had this conversation at work the other day. I was somewhat shocked to realize of all of my coworkers, I'm the only guy that doesn't find the message or feels in lyrics. Even more shocking that I've worked in and around radio for nearly 20 years. Theyd say "What about (some random song)" No feelings beyond a good beat or lame crap. Then they'd say "You're just jaded from being in this industry for so long" blah blah... but even as a kid and teen, even in songs I wrote and sold, i never felt anything beyond grooving the beat. Then they asked if I was autistic, and I'll be honest, realizing I'm the onlynone in that group that doesn't "feel" the music, I think I have to ask my doc if I am.

If you have a daughter and can listen to "Cinderella" (Stephen Curtis Chapman) or "Bluebonnets" (Aaron Watson) without difficulty, then you may need to go ask the doc immediately. In all seriousness, those are some great songs.
