Well I never was one for following the rules but I did fudge a little on the light side when I adjusted the powder measure and tested the loads with my strongest SA.

I know I may be on the debbie downer side but I load cautious and work up. I've had bad ammo blow up in my face and it wasn't cool, and the science says there's a fine line where the pressure goes up crazily. Not saying anyone can't do what they want, or isn't loading appropriately for their firearm, but I'm personally on the start low/work up train.

OP did just that. In reloading manuals, Rugers have their own section when it comes to 45 Colt. That's how strong they are. OP started below minimum for the Ruger. It was only maximum if it had been a Colt or Winchester 1873.
