Baked chips are also one of the highest sources acrylamides. This cancer-causing chemical forms when high-carb foods (like potatoes) are heated to high temperatures. The FDA found that baked potato chips contain about three times more acrylamides than traditional fried chips.

I do have one Paqui chip left.

If someone wishes to try the challenge.
I did it and 3 others in my circle.
Not too bad.

Now it is not as hot as this cinnamon sucker called
The Toe Of Satan.

9,000,000 scoville heat units.
Battery acid is cooler on the lips than this thing.
I lasted 4 minutes and 30 seconds before I had to cool off the liquid lava in my mouth.

I haven't met too many chips that disagree with me.. Charlie chips as a kid delivered to the door.. Garden salsa sun chips is a favorite.. The lays japaleno is good, cheesy ruffles, all the frito group.. I stay away from the save-always stuff at homeland or Beachlers, their cheese doodles are nasty..

Being the tater chip aficionado that I am, I have sampled several, several different types of various snacks throughout my journeys.

I'm a big fan of kettle cooked BBQ chips, especially a brand that you never see anymore called Crunch Taters, Mighty Mesquite. They had a picture of an alligator wearing a cowboy hat on the bag.

I'm also a huge fan of Doritos Sweet Spicy Chili flavor, as well as every other flavor. I mean, c'mon...who doesn't love Doritos?

I also enjoy Chili Cheese Fritos and Pringles Pizza, Sour Cream and Onion and BBQ rock as well.

But. If I were stranded on a desert island and could only take one, single bag of chips with me, they would absolutely have to be...

The Paqui chip wasnt terrible, but I agree on the Toe of Satan. My son has developed a taste for testing his tolerance to heat so we got him one. I didn't try it but his Papa did. Rhys gave him no warning so he just bit a piece off, chewed it up and swallowed it. Uncontrollable hiccups for about 15min and a bowl of ice cream later and he was back to normal haha.

For just eating chips by themselves, I get the Xtra Flaming Hot Cheetoes. For dipping, I really like the Tostitos hint of lime or Ruffles plain.

I like the restaurant made potato chips. Johnnies makes them but they are way too salty. We have had them at other restaurants in the past. Steak house in Newcastle that closed.
