The email says my order was delivered but I have an empty porch. My street is so new that it’s not on google maps yet. I guess I could call the buyer of my old house and see if it ended up there. Happened with a housewarming gift from my BIL.
The tracking number will tell you. Each carrier had a different type of tracking. You can Google the tracking number and it will tell you the carrier.

The only number I got was the order # from PSA. I keep looking at the email for more info.

Ah, I see now. UPS to USPS. I guess I’ll wait and see.

And if its a substitute carrier they have a habit of leaving packages for the regular person to deliver. So it may be a few days til they get back.

Are you saying your delivery driver opened your vehicle and put the packages inside?
Yes they did. After talking with delivery driver, he stated there was a chance of severe weather that day and he didn't want them to get wet or blow away. He now leaves a note in mailbox if he does so.

Yeah, I don't think I'd be opening someone's vehicle if I was them. Good intentions aside, not a great idea on several levels.

2-3 decades ago, I made arrangements with our UPS driver to leave packages in a parked vehicle and lock it if we were gone. UPS and USPS were the only deliveries we got at the time.

But that was back when carrier drivers stayed on a route for long periods. FedEx especially seems to change drivers like socks nowadays. :anyone:

Good luck with yer package, Darren.

Most of what they've sent me is via UPS and arrives pretty quickly most of the time.
