I saw this posted on Facebook which I'm thankful. I wonder what causes the cracks in brass. Bad heat treatment?

I had high hopes for the green boxes, but a lot of new shooters might not notice it if something as small as 9mm ammo had similar defects.

Looks like someone with an agenda to me. Obviously that is not a new round unless they picked it up off the floor. Does not have a mirror finish like the ones on the box, Facebook...ppppffffffft. You still on that disgusting thing?

Anymore I don't believe anything I hear and only half of what I see.
Also, I see no pull marks or scratches on the bullet and the inside of the mouth there looks like it's been sitting for a while. I'm not believing this adds up.

There would not be any pull marks with a case that is split like that as there would be Zero neck tension.
That brass missed some final stages of annealing and polishing.

Notice the squared off crimp marks right at the case mouth.

I had a neighbor send some cases back to Hornady that almost all had a split neck after firing.
I know this is not after firing.

Hornady made good on it by sending my buddy 2 boxes of the LeverEvolution 30-30 that was having issues.
The 2 Boxes he got had Zero issues.
Hornady wanted one box of cases back after he had shot them and included a postage paid box to ship them in.

I bet Remington would make good on it if you contact them.
