I bought one here thru a WTB ad in November. I haven't taken it out of the box yet but it looks promising for sure. All the negative reviews I've seen online seem to circulate around the fact that I believe they need to be heavily oiled to function properly.
Maybe a smidge of polishing on the high points of the "BCG"

I've got one, the more lubed the better, also prefers mini mags and alike, does ok on good federal bulk, is around 70% reliable on thunderduds. I have only taken it out twice for around 400 to 500 rounds total though and could probably be broken in a bit better.

These nifty little gizmos are on sale for $199.99 at Primary Arms.

They are good to go. I’ve had one for about a decade. Not this last OS a meet and shoot but the one before I think it was Mustang I brought one for an AR pistol I have. They are a blast. I bought it mostly for the cost savings to get trigger time back before everything got stupid. For me and my personal experience in the pistols and rifles that I’ve used it with, you will hit your target but it’s not pinpoint accuracy like my heavy bull barrel Ruger 10/22. In my opinion they’re definitely worth it. They have run 100%. They haven’t been finicky with anything I’ve used. Still get the occasional 22 duds though but that’s not his fault.

They remind me of when I went through RTC (Navy Boot Camp )in the Navy. When we weapons qualed we used 1911s that were converted into 22s. Good enough to hit your target at 25 yards but not tack drivers.
