If you’re wanting a newer one I’d look hard at Mahindra’s offerings, I’m not a fan of financing but even I probably couldn’t turn down their options on top of their 7 year power train warranty. If you’re willing to go older (90s or before) there’s still the occasional deal on a 10 or 20 series John Deere in that price range. They only seem to go up in value and are from back when building the best machine available was the goal. I’d argue the 40 or 50 series are probably the pinnacle of capability and reliability but they’re also anywhere from $30-50k in excellent condition and by no means compact.

Their made in America, company is in Virginia.
They make mining equipment.
I have one that I have had since 2004 and it have used it to maintain our 1/2 mile gravel road, as well as mow some and dig fence post holes and plant trees and ...

Guess I’m the odd one, I bought a Yanmar 221, bern happy with it for my uses. My buddy borrowed it and bought a 424 2 weeks later
