I agree with you Dennis his take of the War of Northern Aggression is BS. They say the victors get to write history. If the real truth about Lincoln was widely known there wouldn't be a memorial in DC for him. He was a sorry POS.

It amazes me how so many people don’t know the reality of Lincoln and the civil war. There is a book by a preacher from around the time of the civil war where he traveled down south to research slavery and how it really was. He noted that a lot of the slaves were treated like a part of the family. Yes there were some that weren’t and were treated bad but his conclusion was that slavery was not what people had said it was. And most people also don’t know there were blacks that were slaves and petitioned the courts and gained their freedom and then owned slaves themselves. And the first millionaire woman was a black woman. Of course nobody ever hears about that and it sure wasn’t taught in school.

"Black Southerners in Gray" is an interesting book.

Doesn't fit the narrative.

There is a lot of history that has been forgotten or erased.

It's become in vogue for everyone in Hollywood to openly trash our country and, our military. Have to commend him for this post (even if his take on the Civil War was what they teach in school). As anyone not following their narrative can find themselves out of work in a hurry. None of them dare post anything patriotic or conservative.
