Yes, about a year ago I'd say at least half of the analysts on my floor were hit by false claims by unknown a-holes. We all notified HR the second we received a letter from the Oklahoma Employment Commission in the mail. I went one step further by calling the state which took forever to report the fraudulent claim.

Fortunately, the reporting process is an online form now. I did one Monday after the HR call but haven’t seen any response in my email yet.

OESC does not respond back to you
I can confirm Uncle TK's post. About a year ago I received first a letter and then a debit card(!) from OESC for an unemployment claim I never filed. There were two funny things about that. First, they misspelled my first name (which is a common American/English name), and second, the employer they had listed wasn't my employer, it was the payroll company we use.

I filled out the OESC online fraud form, got the "we've stopped the claim pending review" message, and have heard nothing since.

If the debit card came to your address, I’m left wondering how they would cash in on their scam. Hope I haven’t overlooked a similar item in my mail.

The only thing I can figure is that they thought they could get to my mailbox first, or else they’re just really, really bad at scamming.

Of course, with all the fraud that came with Uncle Sugar making it rain like a rich dude at the naked lady joint last year, you didn’t have to be a rocket surgeon to steal some big bucks, so they may just have been morons…

Has anybody else been hit with a fraudulent unemployment claim on their work history to get the COVID bonus bucks? I was just notified by HR yesterday that they had received a claim from OESC against my employment record. They called to confirm I was not the claimant which I wasn't because I retired in February 2020, just before the craziness began. I have since returned to that employer on a part-time basis per an agreement when I retired.

Yesterday's phone call seemed so random yet just a couple of inquiries turned up two former colleagues who were also hit. The HR lady gave me a link to OESC to report the fraud and they are, of course, denying/contesting the claim as being fraudulent.

I now also have to alert the credit reporting agencies which is another huge headache. I used to be a member of LifeLock but that got terribly expensive. This may make me regret leaving them.

LIFELOCK SUCKS.
I had Lifelock for years while my and my wifes taxes were filed for me by someone(FRAUD/theft)
Lifelock DID NOT alert me, DID NOT stop the fraud and DID NOT protect my info, nor did they cover any of the losses or protect my credit.
Do some background check on them. They aren't what they are supposed to be.
