I think it was generally settled that TX screwed the pooch on multiple fronts in the ice storm.
According to Democrats. If you lost your house to an earthquake and didn’t have earthquake insurance here In Oklahoma would you have screwed the pooch? It’s a numbers game. Texas isn’t New England. There is absolutely nothing they could have done in time to get those Wind generators so called winterized.

The typical rules of debate would be that you make a claim, you support the claim. You're in the best position to know how to search and look it up. For example, here's the EIA data showing NG being far and away the biggest energy source from 2019 (latest data available I saw)

Also there is this one showing that the NG sector is nearly double Green and Coal together.

The point you are missing with those charts is NG still produces carbon emissions. Doesn’t matter which one it is weather coal or gas, Joe Biden and his green goons wants it down to zero by 2035 or 2050

Yeah I guess that's what I mean by they screwed the pooch. They made their winterization decisions on the odds of a cold snap occurring of that severity. They had wind failures, but didn't they also have natural gas plant failures? I'm foggy on it now.

I'm sorry, I didn't know this was "can't make a point so I'm going to deflect Thursday". Show me where I said I give a crap about carbon emissions here? YOU brought up carbon emissions in your claim that "Beijing Biden's DoE" wouldn't let Texas run their coal plants so don't put your words in my mouth. Support your claim that DoE said they couldn't do what they needed.

Yes... Lots of NG failure because they wanted to cheap out and save a few bucks by not doing basically any winterization. Good example would be not insulating control panels and circuitry that froze over and was a major stoppage point.

So you're saying the dialogue goes like this: "I understand that the Forestry Service and BLM want to address climate change. Here's a really really dumb idea that I'll present without any trace of inflection, tone or anything else to indicate that I'm being sarcastic."

No, he was being an idiot. He's representing a state that wants to break off from the US but can't keep power on to their citizens on their fancy independent energy grid, so I know I shouldn't expect much, but that was still a pretty staggering level of dumb.
then there are some dumb people easily mislead by NBC news
