It’s in the garage so it’s not insulated. This some friends of ours daughters house. Her workout station is right there. Had she been working out, the bullet would have gone right over her head. We looked around and can’t find the bullet. It didn’t make it to the other side of the garage. I think it came from a distance, maybe I35 and could be in the wall.
Sounds like she is fortunate not to have been there when it happened.

Another reason why you shouldn't work out. [emoji16]

Just to play devil's advocate... It's possible it isn't. I've got similar holes in my home where the PO drilled to run coax cables, then pulled the cables and never sealed them.

That was kind of my first thought but the inside hole is right where she works out. She was in Tulsa over the weekend and noticed this morning

Poke a dowel through the hole from the bullet entrance...it'll point directly to where it went

I'm not sure.

1) Depending on the exterior siding material (i.e. if it's brittle, masonry, or fiber-like), I would expect the bullet entry point would 'break-off' an irregular shape of the siding. Sure it would be mostly circular, but not perfectly. The pictured hole looks perfectly round.

2) Depending on the bullet type (FMJ/ hollow-point), I would expect that the bullet would mushroom (or tumble) after hitting the exterior wall. That would imply the interior drywall hole would be much larger and more irregular in shape. The picture again looks mostly circular, and similar in size.

3) If the bullet did pass through both the (exterior and interior) walls with enough velocity, I would expect some sort of witness mark on the opposite wall. Maybe not a hole - but at least a good dent in the drywall. Note, that the bullet could have changed trajectory slightly.
On the opposite wall - if there's no exit hole, and no bullet on the floor, ...well????
