Quite honestly that's why the 365 was not for me. Us "big paw" guys need a little more real estate to grab on to.

The 43X/48 grip is as small as I can go. I now EDC a 48 and I'm very happy with it so far.

This is why I swapped out my 365 grip with a 365XL, making it a 365X. The perfect gun for me, and 15+1 isn't too shabby either.

Well I haven't put calipers to them but I believe the 48 grip is both a little wider and a little deeper, front to back, than the 365/365XL grip.

I definitely agree about the 15 round mag part. That's the main reason I decided to try out the 48 because the SA15 mags became available.

I believe that the 365XL is smaller and lighter overall than the G48, which makes it easier to conceal for me. Add the even smaller dimensions of the regular 365 slide, combined with the larger grip of the XL and it's a pretty nifty combo.

After seeing him drill with the 365 I was surprised that was so low in his ranking

It is the slim grip... my son has a365xl and they are small . Makes it hard er to handle . By no means unmanageable . Trigger is excellent and shoots/ groups well. I shot a Shield plus and it just fits my hands better .

If for some reason I ever fall out of like with my G48 I want to try a 4" Shield Plus.

I've been a fan of the Shield pistols since they came out and I really liked the trigger on the Plus version when I had a chance to dry fire one.

I put some Talon grips on my XL and it's a 100% fit for me.

The 43x is a game changer, compact 9mm that comes with 10 round mag, get a shields arms 15 round mag and now you have a compact 9mm with 15+1 capacity, IMO that leads the pack.

I've ordered and then sent a follow up email to shield arms and so far haven't heard a peep from them. I'd like to at least see an acknowledgement of the order. Sounds like they are too busy.

They just released their gen2 mags recently and there were a bunch of orders backed up from the down time while switching over.

I'm sure they're busier than a one armed paper hanger right now. Hopefully you'll hear from them soon.

I didn't deal with SA directly to get my magazines. They were included in a couple of gun deals I made.
