    ODWC proposed changes....

Your totally missing the point, I don't hunt deer why should I have to pay for a deer tag? I don't just drive around tossing $20 bills out the window, I am sure someone needs it but I am not going to do it. It is bad enough that I have to pay the BS Legacy Permit (which they have now rolled...

Duck season is not, well it is in some spots (first 9 days of Rifle). Hub

    Learned my lesson!

I am glad you are positive at what you shoot at but remember, as stated a couple times in this thread, deer season brings out a bunch of idiots and those idiots shoot at anything that moves and does not have orange on. Hub

    ODWC proposed changes....

Yeah my concerns are that I do not deer hunt and I do not buy deer tags. Now they would force me to pay more money to hunt. Hub

    Learned my lesson!

That may be in some cases, but I am here to tell you that deer hunters are treated differently than bird hunters. There is a double standard and I have experienced it first hand. Was loading up with EZbake and my neighbor after duck hunting opening morning, GW rolled up on us and we sat and...

    Learned my lesson!

Because the range of a bow is much less than a rifle, also there is the scope factor to consider. I know what most people with a brain say you can tell a deer from a person through a scope, but there are those dumba$$es that shoot at anything they see in a scope that does not have orange on it...

No you cannot. IIRC it is a minimum of 400 Square inches of Hunter Orange. Hub

    Learned my lesson!

Did he give you the option to plead guilty and pay the fine on the spot for a reduced fine? My neighbor had a brain fart and forgot to put his tag on the deer, it was attached to the outside of his backpack laying next to the deer. The game ranger said if you plead guilty and pay the fine...

    Lee Load-all

Okay I know this is going to pi$$ off the Lee Load All people but I will be blunt... They are Plastic pieces of s@#t, plain and simple. Buy a used MEC Jr. for less than $100 and don't look back. I can't say it any plainer than that. I am not saying you NEED to go buy a Spolar Gold with Hydro...

    Lee Load-all

Better do the calculations because in 12GA you don't see real savings, especially at 1 1/8th ounce loads. Unless you plan on working up some really light loads (7/8 of or even 3/4 ounce) you will see no real savings compared to WM Remington, Winchester, and Federal value packs. Here is a...

    Minimum Distance From Roads?

The hunting regs say no shooting from or across a public road. It does not say how far you have to be off of a road. Call the game warden in your county and talk to them. Hub

    Honobia

I camp down at Hanobia Creek 2 times a year for the last 9-10 years. I have seen lots of deer, turkey, coyotes, rabbits, and cattle but have never seen a hog. I have seen signs of hogs but have never seen one, wasn't really looking hard either. As for deer hunters, yeah there is alot of them...

They were there - and then they were gone

Well I must say that Sunday morning was not any better EZBake. I can say I shot my limit and John bagged one but it was NOTHING like Saturday morning. It was so slow that John busted a crow that was carrying 5 pecans in his mouth. All teals again too, but they were tasty last night. Hub
