I'm asking for informed opinions, not criticism from people who don't have experience with Taurus handguns.
I have been seeing some exceptionally good prices on new Taurus handguns, like the Millennium G2 9mm. I'm in the market for a small and easily concealable 9mm or .40 and these Tauruses...
I'm in the market for a new OWB holster WITH some type of retention device, and I'm not wanting to pay upwards of a hundred bucks. I carry a large-frame semi-auto, not a tiny little pistol. What holster brands/models do you recommend?
I filled out the application online at the OSBI website. Then OSBI e-mailed me that they received my fingerprints from the county sheriff's office on Nov. 26th, and I received my license on Dec. 24th. I was really surprised to get it that quickly.
I tried them once. They failed to do what they promised, and they were impossible to contact on the phone. They ignored my e-mails. I did finally receive my order, but by then I had decided that I would make a point of discouraging everyone I'll ever meet from using PSA for anything. I will...
We took Hwy. 77 south out of Norman to Slaughterville, took Slaughterville Road five miles east to 180th Street, and then south a couple of miles to the range. Good roads all the way.
I took a lady friend out there yesterday. Neither of us had been there before, and it was dirty, as stated above. But we met a few nice folks, if you don't count a couple of idiots on one of the two ranges who were busy burning up their AR-15 barrels by shooting as fast as they could switch...
I looked up the official information regarding the firing range at the Lexington Wildlife Management Area, and the address I got was 180th and York Road. I looked up this address on Google Maps and it showed a three-way intersection on blacktop, but I couldn't see a firing range. Anybody been...
If it's a choice between Fat Boy Tactical and Palmetto State Armory, I'd go with the Oklahoma guys. If you want absolutely worthless customer support, a company that won't answer e-mails and often won't even answer their phone and never returns your messages, by all means go with Palmetto...
That's good news. I've made a couple of purchases at your S.W. 59th Street store, and I found the staff friendly and knowledgeable. And I had a lower receiver shipped via your store, and was VERY pleased with the paltry $10 FFL fee. I'll be buying more from you guys as finances allow. Thank...
I kept the Mauser in the original 8mm caliber. I'd thought about changing it to .308 at first, until I looked at the ballistics and found that I really wouldn't be gaining anything by making that change. I handload and have worked up some great loads for the Mauser sporter.
I see that AIM Surplus has stripped Remington 1903A3 receivers/bolts starting at $129.95 . They rate them at 90%. I've built a nice hunting rifle that's based on a surplus K98 and I'm considering building one on the 1903A3.
Are 1903A3 receivers strong enough for magnum cartridges?
I'm not saying that either one is trash, personally. The guy at the gun shop said the Anderson lowers were trash, when I told him I'd ordered one. Maybe he just wanted to try to sell me a lower. I'm wanting feedback from people who have built an Anderson lower.
If you ordered an Anderson lower and have already installed a lower parts kit in it, how's it working? Everything fit okay? Which lower parts kit did you use? Just curious. I've been away from the forum for a while, and didn't see the group buy. But I ordered one from Palmetto State Armory...
