    I have an 06 an love it. Like others have said the gas mileage isn't the best, but for a 6000lb beast 15/22 isn't all that bad either. It handles well also for as big as it is. :)

    We also used ground zero several years ago. One thing you left out (and Im not sure if yours has it or not), but they don't set it perfectly flush with the ground. Ours is maybe .5 - 1" above the floor to help prevent water from flowing in. Yes you will still get the small amount that rains...

    Im not sure where the bad trigger rep is coming from, but everywhere I read about this gun absolutely praises the trigger on the Shield. I do know about the mag drop issue, but that has apparently been taking care of from what I understand.

    I wear my 27 in an horse hide supertuck daily. I do not have aftermarket sights on mine though. As for jean size most of mine were purchased one size larger due to knowing I would be getting a 27. This will just depend on you and your comfort levels. I do have some jeans in my normal size...
