Saw a firepower demonstration at Fort Sill in the 80s. B-1s bombed a line of old trucks and junk on the range with a full load of 500lb bombs while we watched from the grandstands from a distance.. That was impressive! Those demonstrations were great. I wish they still did them.

Me too, I just wish the ending wasn't a sellout. I like him better before the change of heart. Even then, that ending scene in the doorway is so iconic that you have to like it. Also always liked The Quiet Man.

The Searchers and The Shootist are my favorites. El Dorado and Rio Bravo are interchangeable. Red River and Stagecoach for the earlier stuff. He made a bunch of stinkers too. Good thing people just remember the great ones.

IIRC he has pancreatic cancer, which is a MFer. All cancers are terrible, pancreatic is the one of the worst. One of the few youtubers I actually respect. Sucks to see him go through this.
