I was only in town for a couple days during my vacation, I'm back at work in Pryor now. I confirmed it was your place when I was heading out of the neighborhood to the turnpike.
Just realized I never posted the rest of the pictures from my hunt a few weeks ago.
This was the herd the evening before opening day. Had a pretty decent buck running the does.
Trees are in short supply, so we improvised.
The hero shot
The reward. Wasn't as bad as some other antelope...
Did you really say antelope is almost as good as elk? You, sir, are quite insane. I would've given you the whole thing if I knew there was someone out there who liked it that much. I got 2 sticks of summer sausage made, and the rest turned into burger.
I can tear up a Waffle House. Jimmy's Egg is pretty good, too, always get the Angry Burrito.
As for best breakfast anywhere? 4 Bees Cafe in Black Canyon City, Arizona. I've been eating there since I had to use a high chair, and always stop at least once whenever I'm back in Arizona...
I'm not a big fan of antelope meat, had most of it turned into hamburger.
Rifle is my 6.5 Grendel, shot was about 200 yards. First shot hit her a little high, I panicked on the second shot and killed some innocent dirt, and my third shot put her down.
