The only problem I had with the article was that they didn't attempt to present the other side of the argument. No matter what position you take, I think the media should take the time to be fair about it. The police chief is indeed in a position to present a professional opinion on the...
I have a Glock 23 and an XD 9mm and like them both, but the XD is much easier to get back on target. .40 cal is long known to have a nasty recoil because they are trying to cram more firepower into a smaller case. I've tried different types of ammo to see if that helps and some ammo does...
Being new to guns myself, these are some tips I used to start learning what I was looking for and wasn't. Although renting different guns can help lead you in a specific direction, that's not always the best solution. For me, I have now purchased 2 pistols that have the potential to be my...
I'd support open carry for this very same reason. I'm a skinny guy and guns don't conceal well on me, but with open carry I would be less concerned about accidentally printing or revealing the weapon should it happen. However, I would hope that lawmakers would not include methods that would...
Got my private ticket back in 1994 at KRVS and been flying off and on since. Thought about joining CAP so I could build hours cheaper, but work schedule doesn't allow it right now. Glad to see pilots supporting our 2nd amendment rights as well.
Started a social network for pilots, but I won't...
Can't speak as to SportsWorld's past or other people's experience, but I recently bought an XD from them and it was a good transaction. Very nice and helpful and good price.
I've noticed in this thread that BA, for example, does not have to visit their local PD prior to going to TCSO. While I live in Owasso, and did have to. Does anyone have a complete list of Tulsa County suburbs that residents must visit their local PD prior to going to TCSO? I know City of...
Might have already been mentioned, but if you live in Tulsa County, you need to have a portion of the form filled out by your local police and municipal court. TCSO will not accept it otherwise. Also, I'd recommend going down to TCSO early as it seemed to get very busy after 10 AM.
Well, yes, I probably should have warned everyone of the biased opinion of the author. It was just a quick find that at least spelled out the facts of the case that was used as a catalyst for the amendment.
It has not YET been considered in a case in Oklahoma, but you are incorrect in that Sharia law can only been considered in a federal case. The case which has already been mentioned here where it was used was indeed a state criminal case. A STATE judge ruled that under Sharia law, the husband...
This is what I was really getting at...not that I don't respect the place the courts have in our government, but rather the heavy handed approach they have taken in a situation that is clearly only a state issue. I don't think it violates anything...in fact, if anything, the amendment asserts...
