That's great you get to keep it. I hope it turns out to be a good animal.
I am keeping my brother's dogs until he gets his house squared away. The one is a Tamaskan, very coyote looking and even acts kinda like that fort video someone posted.
Good luck..
We saw one at least 12' long 2 years ago in Little Caney. It's spooky seeing one just basking in the sun and cruising thru the cove.
Not sure how many trophy bass it had eaten, but it wasn't interested in my spinnerbait.
I really enjoy shooting my .257 Weatherby Mag. Nothing shoots flatter or hits harder.
My newest is .22-250. It's close to .22lr recoil.
I love my speedy rounds!
I have one. It's an awesome round.
My rifle is Weatherby Vanguard. It is very managable recoil.
I started reloading mine and its about 1" group at 100yards.
I also love the bullet selection, 75-120 grain. Great for animals around here.
I agree with $1000 for a basic AR. If you are going to spend $2000+, why not get a premium rifle. Not a standard DPMS, Bushmaster, or anything like those.
I would like to extend my Killing range. But currently only have access to a few quarter sections..
If you're interested in sharing any knowledge, I'm interested in learning.
I recently installed a standard A2 buffer system my AR 10 and also installed a magpul prs. Now my bolt will not lock back. I have a smaller buffer from the collapsible stock previously on the rifle. But haven't tried it.
My question is, what buffer are you using with your similar setup?
Any...
