I think the opinions vary drastically between land owners that use their land to produce craps and such, vs those that just own land. I’ve seen the devestation first hand many time and I agree.
Many years ago there was a wild coyote problem in the area we lived in, killed tons of livestock...
Exactly, you made my point. Passes right thru the screen with the same velocity.
Zero negative affect other than my coils not getting plugged up.
Nothing is one size fits all. You’ll learn that eventually. Good luck to ya man.
You are not understanding how air works.. Its a tiny mesh screen that does not in any way affect airflow.
So a thin screen that air can pass right thru undisturbed or your coils getting filled with debris... Yeah Common sense tells me what I am going to do.
Port Orford Oregon to Key west Florida. 3 days. Oh and that was on a motorcycle too.
I used to venture off for about 10 days and just ride wherever the road took me. Never tracked those miles.
I rode 1123 miles in 21 hours with a roadside rest to get my ironbutt certification.
Catches big cottonwood seeds and larger depths before it gets into the coils to plug up airflow. If cleared off frequently it prevents the big tear downs.
As for a tiny mesh screen blocking airflow, guess I don’t need to close windows in my house since air can’t just pass right thru it...
What about all the turbulence created by the crap blocking airflow? I’ll keep spending 10 min a week clearing off the screen and skip the long tear downs to remove all that garbage.
2 hours every week to remove the housing is ridiculous. Screen are very common in the Deep South. Shouldn’t be an issue if removed and cleaned weekly (5 min not 2 hours) that’s a win.
