I have not bought one, but I was in a jewelry store the other day and saw one of the coolest watches I've seen in a while. It was an Artya Brand from their Son of a Gun collection. I didn't buy it at the $17k+ price tag, but they make some pretty cool watches...

For your budget, I'd highly recommend a Kershaw Leek. I've owned several over the years and absolutely loved them! If you want to go a bit over budget, look at the Scott Cook Lochsa. They are amazing!!
