I think it was two years ago that an OHP Captain retired and joined Okc FD.
I can only imagine the guys at the stations messing with the Captain , now rookie. It reminds me of the TV show “The Rookie”.
Giving that dollar will mean more to the young officer than it would the recipient, unless they are a friend and will keep it for honor and sentiment.
Otherwise, the recipient will probably sell it at a profit and never think twice about it or that officer again.
My source for lead has three types of weights.
Regular wheel weights.
I generally use for pistol bullets.
Zinc.
I have no use for and usually get trashed.
Stick on wheel weights.
These are a softer lead that I use for shotgun slugs and buckshot.
