Thanks for the heads up. I'll have to check at that store. I went to the Academy at 41st in TUL last Thurs and all they had were 4 boxes of 28 ga.

Has anyone had any luck finding any .22 lr in the Tulsa area? I picked some up at Dongs a couple months ago but seemed pretty pricey. Figured I'd ask in here first. Thanks

Oddly enough i have but doesnt relate to anything that could be related to firearms. This thread definately took a different turn. However still very informative to myself.

I knew this would bring up some healthy debate. These have all been great suggestions. I am almost leaning towards buying a built gun and building another to understand the workings more in depth. I appreciate everyones feedback.

I picked up a Browning 28 OU at an estate sale a few years ago. Pretty sure the previous owner had used this primarily for skeet.
