Hello, all.
(This might belong in the rimfire section. If so, I apologize)
I have a Beretta 21A bobcat that has always been reliable. However, while shooting at the range, the slide became stuck open, but not quite all the way to the rear position. I can't seem to get it loose. Any...
I've been gone for a while, but just picked up the guns to start shooting again. I went to the range and... problem. About 50 rounds in, my Beretta 21a Bobcat's slide stuck in what seems to be the rear position. I'm not sure if it's truly ALL the way back but it's close. By stuck, I mean...
Sorry, I've been away for a while. Yeah, I've enjoyed the 240D, but her tranny died. I tried to find a standard to change to, but went back to an automatic. Got a used one with an warranty installed for $900. Not too bad. I just wish the mechanic would call and tell me it's done!
To Cowzrul: Yessir. Gary is a hole inside a pit wrapped in detritus. It is coming from family about an hour south of there.
I'm getting quotes of around $500 to ship the car. By the time I got there, slept, ate gassed up and drove back, I'd almost be at that number. So, shipping seems like...
Anyone here had any good luck having a car shipped? I need to send one from the Gary, IN area to Tulsa. There are so many fly by night types out there and I don't want to get scammed. Anyone have anyone they've work3ed with before?
Everyone,
I'm about to go down the road with my first diesel car. Its on old Mecedes 240D. Have any of you had any experience with these old diesels? I'm wondering if you have an opinion on a brand/weight of oil.
Thanks,
elcaBob
Do any of you fine people happen to know anything about the process of dealing with an abandoned vehicle? One was left in front of my house a few months ago and, rather than just have the city tow it away, I'd like to see the feasibility of claiming it. I know this is possible, but I have NO...
Do any of you fine shooters know if there is any kind of do it yourself garage space in Tulsa? I need to replace my starter, but it's cold and I have no garage!
All,
My old Toyota is having a problem and its driving me nuts.
The car will not crank, but makes just one 'click'. This leads me to believe solonoid issue. I changed out all the solonoid contacts and plunger with a new kit.
It jumps just fine... every time. This leads me to think bad...
Well, this is down the drain pipe outside the house. Between the house and the street. We have to have someone come out every 6 or 8 months or so. I don't know if a small home sized snake will do that.
OK, we need to call a plumber tonight to snake a drain (ongoing problem, a quick snake will fix it). Any recommendations? Since it's such a simple job, cheaper is better!
ISIS attacks my country, I'm ready to fight. ISIS goes after the Pope, I don the Red Cross of St. George, strap on my sword and join the crusade!
