Definitely a bad look for OSU and most likely self inflicted. I hope they catch the culprits and a fair punishment is given. Having said that, I think they’ll find the steer was not killed by the culprits so we go from animal cruelty to an obnoxious prank. Hope the kids who did this face...
I’m 63 and had lasik about 30 years ago and still have 20-15, BUT, up close I have issues. I was at the range yesterday with a buddy and was shooting my S&W model 17 masterpiece at 25 yards. Rear and front sights fuzzy as hell. My buddy hands me his shooting glasses that have a sticker on...
I shot a nilgai in South Texas a few years back. Field dressed it there, winched it into the truck and took it to the barn. Went back by not 4 hours later hoping to see a coyote. Buzzards had already been there and the only thing left of the gut pile was a pile of grass from the stomach!
The link doesn't work anymore, but it will take you to the ksby web site. Once there, if you search "mountain lion" on their search feature, it will take you to a story saying the whole thing was a hoax. I can't believe they fell for it to begin with.
I have a Tactical Solutions upper that's also dead nuts accurate, especially with CCI sub-sonic ammo. I bought it several years back and it was pricey, I think about $500 just for the upper, but it's super light weight, feeds everything I put in it and it's accurate.
You won't be sorry when you get it done. I use a suppressor on my AR while predator hunting and it's great not having to choose between putting up with hearing protection or blowing out my ear drums.
A good sling is highly underrated. If you don't already use one and finally try it, especially if you shoot anywhere other than a range where you just haul all your gear to a shooting bench, you will kick yourself for not getting one sooner.
Fortunately for the original poster, it turns out CZ is still selling the 452 but only the left handed model, which the original poster is looking for. From the CZ-USA website "Though the right-handed versions of the 452 Lux and American have been transitioned to the 455 line, the left-handed...
I like the old school magnus 2 blades. Use cardboard wheel on a grinder with jewelers rouge to sharpen them. Like someone else said earlier, I have always tightened my broadheads, or field tips for that matter, when I take them out of my quiver or when I pull them out of a target. Been doing...
This was my first Wannenmacker and it was a hoot. My hip flexors want to fall off from walking all day on cement floors carrying around too much crap! Met up with some buddies on rode to Tulsa together from OKC. On the trip there I bought a .41 mag Ruger Blackhawk from one of the guys and...
I just read through this whole thread. Never even heard of CMP before. I was just looking at their order form and apparantly you have to be a member of a CMP affiliated gun club. Does anyone know if the OKC gun club is affiliated?
Just reading your post made me flinch and my shoulder hurts a little. I owned a Ruger #1 about 20 years ago. I think it was 25-06 but can't remember for sure. I was expecting a lot more accuracy out of it and was disappointed when I couldn't get groups that where anywhere close to the groups...
That's discouraging since that's the very bullet I was looking to use. I don't suppose you know what kind of muzzle velocity you were getting with this load?
