I have since sold my .338 conversion for the Desert Tech. Having no access to a range that would do the .338 justice, I wasn't keen on spending the amount of money it would take to shoot the .338 on a regular basis. I appreciate the reply nonetheless.

If memory serves me correctly, per the FAA you only own the air space 50FT above the highest peak of your roof. I'm a drone operator and when flying over houses I am rarely lower than 400FT.

I recently acquired a .300WM and .338LM and I'm wanting to stretch the legs of the calibers. Are there any ranges around OKC that are at least 600yds or so?

Can anyone recommend a good machine shop or gunsmith around Tulsa to do some barrel rethreading? I have (3) Desert Tech barrels that have 3/4-24 threads and I need to have them downsized to 5/8-24. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

At 100yds each of these calibers will be pretty much dead nuts from one barrel swap to the other. It's when shooting beyond 200yds that you'd need to consult your dope for holdovers.

The only range around here with any distance is US Shooting Academy up on 66th street north and it's only 300yds, unless you have a bigger range around Claremore.
