That’s a good question. I always liked the extra firepower and personally, it was a lot of fun shooting them with my .270 from a couple hundred yards away.
I’m from Guymon too by the way. Actually went to school at Yarbrough until my Junior year then transferred to Guymon. Small world.
Academy in Norman and Academy off of I-240 and Walker had a good amount of ammunition this morning. 2 box limit.
Various (most used) calibers and both locations had a good amount of 9mm, brass and steel.
I think the general consensus is that everyone is annoyed at the “inflated” prices and while I myself am also annoyed, it’s hard to blame people for trying to “capitalize” on the situation.
If we’re all for “capitalism”, should we really be complaining for people trying to sell for more than...
I have the same problem. I’m from the panhandle and have a Texas area code that I’ve had for years. To many people have my number to go through the trouble of changing it.
Picked up my first Winchester today.
Model 92 in 44 WCF.
Serial is 143XXX, which, to my search, puts it at 1896-1898. I’m excited to say the least. I’d like to clean it up but I’m scared to screw something up. Anyone with experience dealing with these old firearms and/or know someone that’s...
I heard an elderly gentleman at H&H tell a guy that if a sweet shooting 1911 in 9mm is what he is after, he should strongly consider the Ronin. He said it handled like a firearm way over its price point. FYI
I second this, although I have to admit I haven’t shot another 9mm aside from my Dan Wesson. I really like the 9mm in the 1911 platform and will eventually pick up another one.
I’m not sure as it pertains to WMA’s.
All of my shooting takes place on private land.
I would assume that unless stated, it’s fair game; however, a call to a game warden in Beaver county would be next step.
With all do respect, asking if you have the box, papers etc, adds to the value in my opinion. I’m a shooter who collects; therefore, the original box, paperwork etc, ads value to the firearm. I have no problem with people asking that question.... mainly because I do sometimes as well!
Grew up fishing Cimarron Canyon, Eagles Nest and Red River area in NM. Nothing like lots of trees and the tranquility of the water flowing through them.
