I watch their website, they regularly have CCI 500 small pistol primers for 7 cents each delivered.
Have also bought some 40 cal bullets, FMJ mix, it's good stuff.
I had the 38 special model shortly after it came out.
The recoil, with factory standard velocity loads, was uncomfortable. No fun at all. Sold it.
Don't know why folks say that the S&W J frame is a good backup.
Pretty cool videos, hadn't seen these before.
The guy sure has some extensive tools and test procedures that I've not used. How do they let a barrel go with no rifling? Crazy.
Go to Ballistic Products website ballisticproducts.com and buy three books.

This website (BPI) is also where you can buy all the hulls, wads, fillers and other tools you'll need to make shotshells.

I got back to the yard to see what is there. These are the large spools, don't have the dimensions but they are big.
All free but you must pick up in Norman.
Sometimes I travel (today I'm in Altus) and may be able to meet to bring one spool, no promises.
Free to a good home, I have a wooden spool that once held fiber optic cable.
It is 30 inches tall (as shown in the bed of my truck) and the diameter is 42 inches.
I can get other sizes if interested; some much smaller, some much, much bigger. These are all free but if it starts to cost me a...
1997, would I enlist then knowing then what I know now?
Hell yes!
Sure, there would be some advice to the young guy joining the Navy but seriously, what young recruit actually listens to solid wisdom?
Today, would I encourage a young person to join the military. Yes, I did. My daughter...
Got in a 2 mile run today. It's been a few years since I could run like the wind (got out of PT for a few years) but I am finally able to complete my circuit without stopping to walk. Feeling pretty good, getting my running legs back underneath me.
Once I am comfortable with this 2 mile run, I...
Wow.
First time at the "World's largest gun show".
Yeah, it was a lot of tables and a lot of guns.
I walked for 4 hours and still didn't view every table.
Surprisingly, there were (seemingly) more used guns than new guns which is why I go to gun shows anymore, but dang, the prices.
Why are...
Well...the guy probably needs his butt kicked but, how did the authorities get that video?
I know that with the commercial doorbell video systems there is zero expectation of privacy but, are there really people watching these feeds live and calling the cops when they see something they don't...
Hang onto those manuals.
I've found that when looking for a load I will reference every source of load data I have. For some powder/bullet combos there have been some interesting differences among the data. When that happens I will gather as much data as possible and make a decision that...
Here is my wife's CZ; a CZ85 Combat. This is essentially a 75 with ambidextrous controls. It has a flared magwell and custom grips and coated slide.
Hard to beat the hand-feel of a CZ.
If it was extracting before the coating and is not now, blame the coating.
Was the extractor removed before the coating? That would add some tension and possibly make it more difficult for the extractor to grab onto the rim of the cartridge as the extractor is under extra tension at rest.
If...
