I have a yankee hill phantom on my AR and it sounds a little quieter than a 22 pistol. The bullet makes one heck of a crack by itself and you still get the noise of the gas pushing the bolt back. I still use plugs if im shooting multiple rounds but not if im trolling through the woods with it. I...
I use an old Jennings takedown that I found at a pawn shop. think its about 45#. It has an aluminum riser with a stabilizer mount for a reel mount that works well. I have an old zebco catfish reel full of spider wire on it. I have always used the muzzy points with the carbide tip and seldom have...
I had a 935 once. Only the high brass loads would make it cycle correctly. I mainly used it for duck hunting, shooting 3" mags until it broke in the field. The cheapo molded plastic parts couldn't handle the recoil. Just sayin you should expect problems.
Good luck with the 16. don't know why...
BFG AT also. I decided to run coopers AT's this last time because they were cheaper and they perform well, especially off road but are a little noisy after 8k miles. When these wear out I will go back to the BFG's.
I believe in God. Jesus Christ is the Son of God who is my Savior. I believe that God will make a new Heaven and those I love will be there. I've never dwelt on the details. I just have faith, try to do the right thing, and try to leave the rest to him.
It would be fine with me to spend eternity...
After trying a couple cheaper guns that just gave me headaches, I bought a Benelli SBE2. I use it for everything except turkeys. Its lightweight and likes the high power duck loads.
I knew before season started that 12 wouldn't be great but I didn't think it would be that bad.
The funniest thing I saw all season was ESPN's pre-season rankings where they had OU at #4 :pms2:
You definitely get what you pay for with a 1911. But I agree that some of the compacts will give you trouble. I've owned two. A Kimber CDP that was a tight and picky pain in my a$$. The other is a 3.5" Colt officers that I've kept. There is a definite design difference between the two. Now, I...
I haven't used the mojos is a few years, they got wise and wouldn't commit. I play the wind, use a quiver butt if its still and use either 5 or 50 dekes. I do have a jerk rig I use now and then with a single drake that I can make look like its feeding or attacking another deke.
The simple NO SOLICITING sign and security camera cut the doorbell rings down. If its anyone besides kids that don't know what the sign means, I don't answer.
Ok, fill me in on what the heck that is if you can without getting banned. I tried to find out but it returned no results without having to turn off the safe search and I aint going there.
I shoot 165gr Ballsitic tips for local deer. I used to shoot Accubonds but switched because they held together a little too well and didn't do as much damage on whitetails. I still keep the accubonds on hand for hogs which they work great on.
Ive never shot an elk, but I know a lot of reloaders...
