I have a model 38, 1942 Husky in a Century Arms stock, sporting a wonderful Redfield scope from the seventies!… I loaded for it all the time trying squeeze out the best load on a number of bullets….from 85 gr to 160….My favorite being Sierras 120 and hornady 129’s….I never got a suitable load...
I have had an old Winchester in my collection for years and have never shot it…..I recently pulled it out of the safe ,broke it down and cleaned it….100 plus years later it still has a decent bore and rifling!
Does anyone have memories of using one?….I’ll take it to the range to see how it shoots..
I am cleaning my storage safe and am offering a very nice nickel clad smith and Wesson 36-1. It has a 4 inch bull barrel, trigger shoe, nice original wood grips and fixed rear sight…..This has curb appeal! $450.
For sale is a partly sporterised Chinese type 13,98 Mauser. There are no import names on piece.
It is in very good condition with good blueing and perfect bore. Numbers match on bolt, receiver and barrel. Barrel is over 29 inches….bolt is cut and bent.Safety is a Buehler….Caliber is 8mm.
Good morning!
I am a retired Vietnam era vet in green country...have been gun enthusiast since childhood!
Grew up in central ma and was educated on Long Island..have lived all over USA.
I enjoy bullseye competition with all handguns, esp the 1911. I reload some...have several Swede mausers.

Have any of you folks seen or shot the type 3 Chinese mauser? I have one but have not shot it yet.i read where it is one of only 140,000 made in the Mukden arsenal before the Japanese captured it.
Unfortunately the stock is shortened, the bolt bent, and the safety changed to accommodate a scope...
