I have 660 rounds of .223/5.56 ammo with 12 30 rd mags and one 10 rd. I don't know the exact ratio of .223 to 5.56, but most is brass some steel mixed in. I would trade for a Diamond Infinite bow, but that's about it.
I have this AR I put together last year and have only shot a couple of times going to build another with more stopping power and a little higher end. This one is a Delta Team Tactical build on an Anderson lower. .223 Wylde everything Mil-Spec and shoots very well. Comes with everything shown...
Brother-in-law has been trying to get me to shoot steel matches with him for awhile and I think it's about time I stepped up from the Glock G44 as far as .22lr pistol shooting goes. So, I'm on the hunt for a CP33. I'm located in north central OK, but am willing to travel a bit if needed. Thanks!
My wife got to shoot one recently and liked it better than her Glock 44. So, now we're on the hunt for one. I'm pretty open to which style, but she shot and really liked the 22/45. Buy or trade, I have a Gen 3 Glock 17 that I would be willing to part with so the wife is comfortable shooting...
This is some great helpful info. Like I say, I'm not new to shooting, I've just never had a reason for optics. Pistols at 20 yards isn't scope territory so this is all incredibly beneficial information. Thanks.
I suppose I shouldn't have said I'm not worried about price as the range on scopes seems to be from $40-5,000+. I would like to stay around $500. I am not necessarily worried about true long range shooting, I just want to give myself a fighting chance next season.
I really enjoy shooting with iron sights which is partially why I've been reluctant to even buy a scope, but the 30-06 came with a Leupold rail so I figure I'll take advantage of it on this rifle. I'm also pretty excited to start seeing how far out I can get with a basic setup after I rung steel...
I had heard Vortex would be a good starting point. I'm not necessarily worried as much on the money, I just don't want to make a foolish purchase. I appreciate this info. As far as distance is concerned a 4-12 would allow me to reach out quite a bit farther than the 150-200 yards I mentioned right?
I'm new to the forum and new to any sort of long range shooting. I've shot and been around firearms my whole life, but generally shotguns and handguns. I have a Henry Golden Boy for rabbits and the like and then purchased an Axis II in 30-06, thanks again @AFVet . My intent is to start hunting...
I'm new here so I hope an ad like this isn't frowned upon for a first post, but I'm looking to get into a .270 Win to get into a little heavier round instead of the varmint killers and pistols I have. I appreciate your time, folks.
