I've got that same stock on my 870. I love the stock but the recoil pad has a really sticky texture and grabs my shirt. Wish I could get the factory recoil pad to fit on the Hogue stock.
I've got a Ridgeback and it's one of the most well balance knives I've ever held. I love it. It's short but it performs like a tank. I'm not surprised you've used it more than any of the others. I'm sure it will last a lifetime. Oh, and good luck with that whole finger cutting thing.

Has anyone had any trouble with their Rem 870 not feeding properly? Sometimes the notches at the mouth of the mag tube don't release the next shell and sometimes it does, but the loading gate is in the up position so the next shell in the tube will eject out the bottom. I've never seen this...
