I just want a simple(ish) deer rifle. Most shots, ive read about/heard about, happen within 100 yards. TBH, i would like two 308's. One for four legs...one for...ehhhh let's just say...not so many ;o)

I have shot a trimmed down/suppressed savage hog hunter too. Nice lil rifle. ANd of course i know many will say Rem 700. Just getting some ideas.

I have heard a few praise Tikka. I didnt know they were as inexpensive. I am hitting banner road/canadian ranges Sunday. Time has yet to be determined. If you happen to come out there, i would gladly take you up on your offer. Thanks man!

Thursdays around noon are good times to hit the Metro area walmarts for 22lr. I picked up 3 100 rounds packs of cci for 6.97 (or something like that) 2 weeks ago. I have been getting pretty good results at sooner state pawn though every time i transfer a firearm. Id rather pay them a little...
