I've got a set of Lee dies that I'd trade for 45 brass., bullets or large pistol primers.. It's missing the decapping pin and collet thingie.... I'll even be in Yukon in a couple of days
How is priming on the 1000?... I've tried and wasted too many primers on the load master.... no matter how clean i keep that stupid tray and primer chute it still jams up
I didn't even know this was a thing..... I've got a lot of this stuff.... 375h&h mag in original boxes... Lots of 30 rem.. And 35 rem.... I'll have to dig them out
Lee 4 hole turret without the indexing thing to start out, or a single stage... once you're comfortable you'll want to move progressive... go with a dillon or a hornady... Lee Loadmaster isn't bad as long as you don't prime on the press, but Dillon and Hornady make damn fine tools.
I hear this one a lot... I just don't see it when I walk into Dongs... I'm not defending them, some of their practices are crap... raising quoted prices on customers... 60-70 dollar pmags... I treat it like they treated the soup shop on Seinfeld... You go in... you get what you need.. step up...
Here's a fun pro-tip for ya... Instead of a specialized tool you can get away with reaming them with a chamfer tool... I chuck mine up in the possum hollow power adapter, and I turn by drill press upside down on its stand. So basically my .223 process goes like this:
1) Tumble
2) Lube, resize...
