OK State House Passes Expansion of Right to Bear Arms

The only compelling interest is that of We the People to keep government under our thumbs lest government take our rights and freedoms from us to serve dictators, tyrants, and despots. Makes me wonder what those in government are up to, or are about to be up to, that requires our right to keep...

OK State House Passes Expansion of Right to Bear Arms

DON'T DO IT! Want to know what "to serve a compelling state interest" means? Go read any communist/Fascist/Marxist/socialist/oligarchic manifesto. All of those require dictatorial rule and that is the only scenario in which a compelling state interest could be used to supersede the rights of...

    Remember the movie ‘Terminator’ ?

No need for shooting them. Just unplug them, or short out their battery packs and chargers. Salt water ought to do it. In the mean time, they'll make great moving targets! Woody

...but there weren't semi-automatic weapons when the Bill of Rights was written

It's why the Second Amendment has the all encompassing term "arms"and doesn't list things like flintlocks, knives, swords, arrows, rocks, and/or spitballs. It says nothing about arms limited to any specific date of manufacture, caliber, range, mode of deployment, etc. Woody

26 Barges Float Uncontrolled Down Ohio River, Bridges Shut Down - ‘Extensive Damage’

Why, it's obvious. We must ban barges, bombs, and container ships! (What cats and dogs do in the privacy of their dens is none of our concern.) You heard it here first! Woody

Bicyclists causing traffic problems in Sand Springs.

What positive? All I see is a negative when they impede traffic. Slowing down, creeping along 'till one can pass them, then the extra exhaust gasses emitted when accelerating around them certainly is worse than any cyclist "saves" peddling their arse around. Think, too, that just about all their...

Bicyclists causing traffic problems in Sand Springs.

I don't have a problem with bicyclists so long as they keep up with the traffic, obey the rules of the road, and are courteous. Otherwise, stay off the road. Woody

The government has been lying to us since the '50s? Say it ain't so!

As in everything else, follow the money. I love butter. I love cheese. I love eggs and meat. Veggies are OK too. I eat what my body craves. It's the best indicator of what my diet requirements are. I inherited my propensity for arteriosclerosis. It runs in my family. Woody

That is that restore function to an earlier date I told you about. I'm not familiar with whatever version of windows you are running, but there ought to be that function available in some form in that version. Go to your control panel. Click on "System and Security". Then under the heading of "Back-up and Restore, click on "Restore Files from Backup" and follow the instructions. The best restroom in OKC

I understand. It's no longer matter of walking up to the urinal. Now you have to straddle it to keep from filling your shoes. (You don't want to be that guy who walks out of the men's room leaving a trail of wet foot steps ...) Woody
