We were honored to partner with Wounded Veterans of Oklahoma this weekend to get the opportunity to take some of America’s finest on a goose hunt. The yellow dog had a great time too!

Yes sir, that is a brant. They are fantastic table fare as their primary source of food is eel grass. Cooked these up the day after we shot them.

Here’s a little more about the band from my post on Facebook. My dad was a police officer and I’ve had several thin blue line duck calls made in his memory. I collect duck calls and bring some of these out for special occasions.

I’m behind on posting pics this season. I haven’t got out a ton but we’ve had good success for the hunts we’ve been on. And sea duck hunting is awesome!
