10mm Loads with VV 3N38 180 Grain

Had the plinking range all to myself today at OKCGC.

Load #1:
180 Grain Berry's FNRS
9.0 Grains VV 3N38
CCI 350
Starline virgin brass
1.260"

Load #2:
180 Grain Berry's FNRS
9.3 Grains VV 3N38
CCI 350
Starline virgin brass
1.260"

Load #3:
180 Grain Berry's FNRS
9.5 Grains VV 3N38
CCI 350
Starline virgin brass
1.260"

No pressure signs on anything. I contribute most of that to the most excellent chamber support my Camp Guard 10 provides. I can live with an SD of 15ish.

Going to settle on 9.4 Grains though. Should provide an average of 1215 fps, plus my LnL measure doesn't seem to like 9.5. It will consistently throw 9.4, but it jumps to 9.6 when I adjust it. Quirky I guess.

That reminds me...I need to get a decent powder measure. Dipping and weighing out each load is too slow for me.

I bet. I trickle each load in my Precision rifle stuff, but that'd get old real quick with handgun
