When Colt made 10mm in the 90's, weren't 1911's in the caliber known for cracking?

Have read that before too, that the early Delta Elites had cracking problems. Don't remember all the details, but they supposedly got it figured out.

They figured it out by milling the rail section that cracks out of the frame. this is why modern 1911 frames look different at the slide release than original design

If you can find one one of the S&W third gen 10mm auto pistols would be good. Had no trouble with the one I had. Will someday get another.

They are very proud of 3rd gen S&W 10mm, look up 1006,1076,1086 and I think there is another model, but check out Gunbroker...crazy high priced. Reckon they aren’t making anymore, and there weren’t tons to begin with.

There is a couple of 10mm groups on Facebook. The 10 xdM doesn’t have the best rep, but some love them. The high bore axis was a no bueno for me personally. But if you have them and shoot them well, it could be the perfect weapon. I am wanting a Glock 40Mos

Wouldn’t want to carry it ccw, maybe a shoulder rig, heck pants carry probably could also. Damn sure not worry about clothes slowing it down.
