I was in CA (Ventura County) the first 2 weeks of this month, and 95 there feels like 72 in Oklahoma. 113 in Riverside would be nothing... no different than in Phoenix. 100 here in OK would be much more intolerable. Oh, and In N Out is worthy of the hype, though I find a Burger Street burger comparable in style and taste (never bothered to ask them if they know what Animal Style is though). In n Out is currently in CA, NV, AZ, and UT now. Soon, they will have 2 locations within 3 hours of OKC: http://www.star-telegram.com/2010/09/20/2481265/in-n-out-burger-plans-west-seventh.html :) The other odd thing is that they got all the commercials for Sonic in Cali, but did not have any there. Sonic there is as hyped as In N Out is here. My friend (from OK) lived in San Diego and when they opened the one in Santee, everyone went crazy and the lines were around the block, day and night. Crazy. Oh, and Del Taco? It's like Taco Mayo with fries. Nothing special.
