Yes and I wish my Shield could be carried that way. I just can not feel comfortable with a striker fired pistol after so many years of revolvers, DA pistols and 1911s. I would trade it in a heartbeat for a small 9 that could be carried cocked and locked. Even a Star BK or BKM. Just something about it feels safer to me.

If the strap overcocks the hammer, it’s actually taking the sear nose out of contact with the hammer hooks. I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with it, I just would rather not have that engagement open and amp point other than the firing cycle
Minor adjustment with a file on the thumbreak NOT THE GUN.

To this day my right thumb is still looking for the thumbreak and the safety. I just cannot control it. :blush::bolt::anyone:

10-4, I am sure with the holster on, I can probably fit the weapon a bit better. I appreciate the feedback

Mine too, if not looking for the hammer on a revolver. I started out with single action revolvers and still cock on the draw when carrying a revolver. (sometimes an auto)
